We are so excited to start the year and see all of you smiling faces filling our halls and classrooms this year!
As many of you may have heard, there was a slight change to the dress code. We have outlined it here:
A standard pair of navy trousers or dark blue jeans for boys and girls are to be worn by all students at ASK. Jeans should not be faded or ripped. Please keep in mind that leggings, and jogging pants are not acceptable uniform pants. All pants must have pockets. Pants without pockets will fall under the category of leggings.
To the knee length, navy blue skirts are also acceptable for girls if they prefer
High School students will wear the official navy blue ASK polo shirt. No other tops may be worn except the ASK polo shirts.
We just want to reiterate that the dress code requires the official navy blue ASK polo shirt. No other shirts are acceptable.
However, we understand that currently the ASK uniform store is out of stock in some sizes, therefore, in order to give time for you to get your size, the first week of school will be free dress.
Please remember our free dress guidelines:
Free Dress Days
During the first week students are allowed to wear free dress. On these days shorts and capris are never acceptable. Also, shoulders must be covered and there should be no rips or holes in pants above the knee.
Finally, we know many of you are preparing for the first day. The High School does not have a supply list. Rather, we ask that you come the first day with a book-bag, pens, and a few spiral bound notebooks, and then, throughout the first week, your teachers will inform you of the supplies needed for their class.
Again, we are so excited to have a great year and look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!
