Progress Reports Go Home March 8

8 Mar

High school students will receive progress reports today, on Thursday, March 8th.  Please take some time to review these and discuss your child’s progress to date with him/her.

What information does a progress report provide?

  • It is a snapshot of your child’s success to date.
  • It does not provide actual grades; comments are used to indicate academic progress.
  • There are two comments for each subject:  one academic comment and one general comment.
  • Academic comments are numbered from 1-4:

1 – Excellent – Above Grade Level

2 – Very good – At Grade Level

3 – Satisfactory – Approaching Grade Level Standards

4 – Is in danger of or is currently failing – Below Grade Level

  • General comments cover a range of topics such as attendance, academic attitudes, and classroom behavior.

Students will receive two reports.  Please sign one and have students return it to their homeroom teacher on Sunday.

Thank you.
