We’ve had a busy week with our Halloween Celebrations, shortened week, and a lunchtime concert today.

On October 31st, we celebrated Halloween with a costume competition at lunch.  Fathiya Al-Hamad organized the entire event and did a great job.  Fun was had by all.

Today, Sami El-Quqa and Matthew Cox organized a lunchtime concert.  They played excellent music for us and were joined by Mariam Al-Rashed for one song.  We are lucky to have such talented students.

In the classroom, AP Language students presented in-depth literature analysis presentations.  AP Chemistry students ran a successful lab to determine the mass of hydrate.  English 9 students are beginning research presentations on a topic related to Animal Farm and Algebra 1 students are learning how to graph coordinates.

Please remember that Quarter 1 ends next week, November 8.

Happy November!
