College Night – March 26th @ 6:00pm

14 Mar

You have probably received e-mails regarding our upcoming college night which will be held in the library at 6.00 pm on Monday, March 26th.

This is a very useful event as it will help students and their parents understand the different elements of the college application process when applying to colleges in the US, Canada, UK, and others.

Dr. Daniel Marschner, Director of International Admissions and Outreach at Loyola Marymount University, will be joining me in presenting where we will be covering topics such as the importance of a rigorous schedule, a well-written college essay, letters of recommendation, standardized testing, deadlines, majors, and much more.

I believe it is important for students to start thinking about the different components of an application and what differentiates a winning application from others. Hearing this from their counselor and learning about the selection process from a college perspective will hopefully help students get a better understanding of applications and admissions.

I do hope you will join us on Monday, March 26th.
