NHS Application Deadline Extension

19 Mar
17 Mar

The AP Program is closely monitoring the updates and guidance about the coronavirus (COVID-19) provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other leading health organizations.

The AP Program is developing resources to help schools support student learning during extended closures, as well as a solution that would allow students to test at home, depending on the situation in May.

Our first concern is for the health and safety of students, their families, and their school communities.

We are focusing on supporting student learning of the remaining content and skills in the course.

We are focusing on providing flexible and streamlined testing opportunities and partnering with colleges and universities to ensure that students can still receive the college credit they have been striving to earn all year long.

Additional Resources will be made easily accessible to AP students through mobile phones and other devices. These include free online AP lessons and review sessions from some of the top AP teachers in the country.

More to come.

In response to the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19), College Board is canceling the May 2, 2020 SAT administration.

Makeup exams for the March 14 administration (scheduled for March 28) are also canceled. Registered Students will receive refunds.

The College Board will provide future additional SAT testing opportunities for students as soon as possible in place of canceled administrations.

The College Board will be as flexible as possible to give students the best chance to show their skills and stay on the path to college.

The College Board will be flexible, thoughtful, and collaborative in exploring ways to continue to support student learning and provide opportunities to test during this challenging time.

Our focus will remain on student safety and during this challenging time, we’re ensuring students have the tools they need and opportunities to receive the credit they’ve earned.
